Spill Volume Calculator - Lite

iOS Application - Full Length Help Document

Using the Application:

1. Determine the Shape of Your Spill: Identify if your spill resembles a rectangle, square, circle, or triangle. Select the appropriate shape on the app's home screen.

2. Input Measurements:

• Rectangle/Square: Enter length and width in feet, and depth in inches. For round shapes (like tanks or vessels), input the diameter and quantity to account for displaced volume. Results are given in barrels and gallons.

• Circle: Enter the diameter in feet and depth in inches. Calculations are automatic. Triangle: Enter the base width in feet, height (from peak to base) in feet, and depth in inches.

3. Additional Features:

• Use the trash can icon to clear all input fields with one click.

• Use the keyboard hide button to view results if they are obscured.

• NOTE: For the most accurate depth, take measurements in 3 to 5 different areas and use the average.
